What is Year of the Dragon? 2012

The Chinese New Year's Day is January 23, 2012. The Chinese New Year's Days are also called the Spring Festival. The Spring Festival lasts 10 days, the Dragon Year lasts one lunar year (12 months) --until Feb. 9, 2013.

 The Dragon personality The Dragon is a creature of myth and legend. A symbol of good fortune and sign of intense power, the Oriental Dragon is regarded as a divine beast - the reverse of the malicious monster that Westerners felt necessary to find and slay. In Eastern philosophy, the Dragon is said to be a deliverer of good fortune and a master of authority. Therefore, those people born in Dragon years are to be honored and respected.

I think whatever sign your born on the chinese calendar it is a good gesture to attract the good luck on the year of the dragon because this is the year of  good fortune. 

I was born in the Year of the Tiger, and i am looking forward to a good luck, good health, wealth and good family relations this coming year.  I can feel that because i had a good vacation in my country this end of the year and the beginning of this year, i see unification with my two sons, then later with other members of the family. I consider this a good luck,  good year of the dragon.
